President Obama: 'Not invited' to Chelsea's wedding; 'don't know' Snooki

Now we know exactly why President Obama isn't going to Chelsea Clinton's big event this weekend: "I was not invited to the wedding," he says today on The View in an interview taped yesterday, "because I think Hillary and Bill, properly, want to keep this thing for Chelsea and her soon-to-be husband."

And it's best for all involved, he joked. "You don't want two presidents at one wedding!" Obama says, according to MSNBC. "All the secret service, guests going through [metal detectors], all the gifts being torn apart."

Obama said he agreed with the sentiment and told the hosts and the audience, "Sorry, ya'll probably will not be getting invited to Sasha's wedding or Malia's wedding, either."

He also mentioned that Malia, 12, is at camp and Sasha, 9, "is away at a friend's house," so lately at the White House, "it's just me and Michelle."

And, thankfully, when the Viewsters asked about Jersey Shore's Snooki, he replied, according to the Daily News, "I'm sorry. I don't know who that is."

The interview airs today at 11 a.m. on ABC.
