President Obama heads to Texas next month for a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraiser, and YOU could win a free trip there to get your photo taken with him.

That's the message from the committee, which is offering dinner and a photo with the president for two lucky people. It will be Obama's first fundraiser in Republican-red Texas since taking office; he's been a regular in California and New York, decidedly blue states.

In fact, Obama held two fundraisers in New York Wednesday night, and he'll be back in California next month to raise money for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which runs House races.

The Senate committee has reason to promote its big fundraising dinner. The November elections will decide who controls Congress in 2011-12, and several big-name Democrats are on the bubble. The party now holds 57 seats, and two independents usually vote their way.
